Cosplay Tutorial – Princess Bubblegum’s Crown
Now that Wondercon is over and I’m recovering from con-flu, I thought I would do a quick tutorial on how I made my Princess Bubblegum crown. I knew that I wanted it to be sturdy and firm since a lot of the ones I’ve seen are made of one piece of foam or look more flimsy. I decided to take the idea of using foam and add to that by using Wonderflex. I know that Worbla is the new Wonderflex,…

Wondercon 2013 Recap and Photos Extraordinaire!
Another Wondercon has come and gone and like most big cons, it’s always a little sad when it’s over. Yup, back to reality and my mundane life where I can’t cosplay for 6 hours a day. Cosplay WIP/Tutorial – Prepping for Wondercon 2013
Update on my latest cosplays! I’ve been spending majority of my time finishing up Nathan Drake’s holster and was finally able to make some progress since my buckles finally came in. I had a couple of failed attempts buying all the buckles and hardware due to size issues, but eventually got most of my stuff from buckeguy.com. I spent most of the weekend doing leather work and can see why people are really into the art of leather crafting. It’s takes…

Cast Your Vote in The Geekie Awards!
I was hanging out in the Twitterverse the other week and kept seeing tweets about “The Geekie Awards“. I didn’t think much of it until I saw a tweet about their “EPIC cosplay contest”. And you know if it says “epic”, that must mean something, right? I figured “why not” and decided to submit my Han Solo entry since one of my most popular posts on this blog is my Han Solo holster tutorial. Anyhow, if you would like to…
