The Stylish Geek + The Geek Speak Show!
I recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Henry from The Geek Speak Show and discuss the upcoming panel that I’ll be in this weekend at Wondercon – The Battle For Multicultural Heroes. Check out my interview below! For the full podcast (“The Warm-up to Wondercon 2014”, listen to it here). It’s going to be a great discussion with Tony Kim (Crazy4ComicCon), Andre Meadows (Black Nerd Comedy), and clinical psychologist Dr. Andrea Letamendi (Under the Mask) so hope to see…

Maxi’d Out
It’s been a while since I last felt the rush of getting a new cosplay done in time for a con and this week has been one of those weeks. With me trying to find time to work on my cosplay (while my deliveries go missing) and at the same time dealing with SDCC hotel madness, it’s no wonder that by Friday, I’m pretty wiped out and just want to curl up with my controller and Dark Souls. Wondercon 2014 – Panel Announcement!
Apologies for the lack of posts lately, but unfortunately I’ve been sick all week. :( However, now that the Wondercon schedule has been released, I had to write a quick post since I am super excited (and very nervous) to announce that I will be participating in my very first panel at Wondercon this year, titled “The Battle for Multicultural Heroes”!! Join me and fellow panelists Tony Kim (Crazy4ComicCon), Andre Meadows (Black Nerd Comedy), and clinical psychologist Dr. Andrea Letamendi (Under the…

Cosplay Tutorial: Empire Strikes Back Bespin Han Solo Costume
[Photo taken at the San Jose Tech Museum: Where Science Meets Imagination Star Wars exhibit] To be honest, the thought hadn’t even crossed my mind to make another Han Solo cosplay. But on a 4 hour road trip home, I suddenly had the urge to want to re-make my original Han holster and with that, I figured why not make a new costume to go with it? I ended up doing a lot of research on this since unlike A…
