Gears of War Speed Pumpkin Carving
This is my final post about pumpkins this year, I promise! Anyhow, I recorded myself doing the whole pumpkin carving and was able to edit it down 6 hours into 5 minutes of speed carving. Apologies for the video quality since I’m using my Macbook camera, but oh well. Next year will be even better!

Gears of War Locust Pumpkin – Part 2
Since posting my pumpkins online the other day, a few people have asked about what it looks like lit up. I actually didn’t even consider emptying it out to light it b/c usually with these 3D pumpkins, the skin is so thick that light doesn’t show up that well.

Halloween Crafts – Gears of War Locust Pumpkin and Face Painting
Happy Halloween!! Halloween is definitely one of my top 2 favorite holidays of the year, mostly because I get to do so many crafty things during this time. One of my annual traditions has been to carve a 3D pumpkin and since I’ve been playing sooo much Gears of War 3 lately, I decided to create a locust pumpkin! Enjoy!

Missing out on Blizzcon and Dragoncon
I didn’t go to Blizzon and actually never have, but I’m always extremely impressed by some of the hardcore cosplayers that dress up there. When I saw the winner of this year’s contest, I was BLOWN AWAY by the creativity and awesomeness of this costume! She’s the adjutant from Starcraft 2.

After 2 years of admiring Scott Campbell’s amazing work online, I finally ventured down to the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA and got a chance to see his “Zombie In Love” exhibit. Not only is admission FREE, but the Gallery Nucleus carries a lot of unique knick knacks – from whimsical comic cards to a camera lens cup.
