Star Wars in the Park
I am super excited about today’s outfit because of my new Star Wars shirt!! I wanted to incorporate something more geeky into today’s outfit (hey, isn’t that what this blog is all about?) and realized that geeky shirts don’t have to just go with a pair of jeans and converse shoes. A cute skirt, ankle boots, and even some modern jewelry can really pull everything together. There’s no reason that just because you’re wearing a Star Wars shirt means that everything else has to be dressed down. In geek speak, it’s all about bringing balance to the force, right?
Junk Food has become my go-to brand for girls Star Wars shirts that have a modern fit. Thank goodness for more female geeks out there. Seriously, how many times in the past have us geeky girls had to buy a mens size small because brands don’t make geeky shirts for girls? Retailers like ThinkGeek, Jinx, and StylinOnline (one of the biggest shirt vendors at comic con) are really great about making tees that fit us geeky girls and for that I am grateful.

I would wear this outfit, including the Star Wars shirt, and I am not a big Star Wars fan (admittedly.). It is so cute!
