Monterey Weekend
It’s easy to take things for granted living in the Bay Area. Case in point, I have lived less than two hours away from Monterey for quite a long time now and can’t really say I have ever gone as an adult. I was always a little reluctant to go thinking it was going to be boring, there would be nothing to see, and that it wasn’t worth the drive. But I was incredibly wrong. I finally went down this past weekend and got to see the beauty and amazement Monterey has to offer. The quaint shops, art galleries, and cafes in Carmel, the amazing ocean views along the coast of Highway 1, and being able to appreciate all of God’s creatures big and small in the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I loved every moment of my time down there (especially watching the super cute Sea Otters) and next time, I will definitely be sure to revisit Monterey sooner rather than later!
