Pixel Perfect

For anyone who grew up in the ’80s, there’s something completely irresistible about pixelated art. It’s fun, it’s nostalgic, and reminds me of simpler times on the Atari or for those who remember – the Intellivision, which is what I had growing up. One of my favorite super old school games was called Dracula – a classic pixelated game where you play Dracula and wander the streets in the middle of the night in search of food. Before you’re wondering how this violent idea could be a kids game, it gets even better. To “hunt” for food, you wander the Sesame Street like city, knocking on doors for people to come out. Apparently the people of this town have no problem answering their doors in the middle of the night because once they come out, you get to “bite” them and fuel up on their blood. But you have to hurry! Get back to your coffin before the sun comes up to avoid death!
