Gaming consoles come and go, but there’s definitely one that no one will ever forget – the Atari 2600. Who knew just a simple joystick and single button could create so much fun? I mean, if you think about how complicated games are now versus back then and the time we’ve spent on them, it’s sort of amazing how those simplistic games were able to hold our attention! I think every kid in the ’80s had an Atari or had a friend with an Atari and I myself spent many hours at other people’s houses playing Frogger, Asteroids, and Space Invaders, just to name a few. My love for gaming has waxed and weened over the years, but I’ll always have a love for the old school stuff.
