Galactic Heroines
Hopefully by now you’ve all seen the Rogue One trailer and liked it as much as I did. I can’t wait for this movie to come out, especially because it’s the first standalone movie and not a direct prequel or sequel of any of the other films. It’s pretty crazy to think that there will be a new Star Wars movie out every single year until 2020 and on top of that a new Star Wars Land opening up at Disneyland! And here’s a tip – if you look closely while riding Thunder Mountain, you can actually see some of the construction going on for it! But back to Rogue One.. it’s an especially great time to be a female Star Wars fan given the amazing female lead characters in both The Force Awakens and Rogue One. Rey is by far one of my new favorite characters and my friend Catherine Elhoffer (from Elhoffer Design) designed this gorgeous, and might I add comfortable, Rey dress that totally embodies her character in modern day fashion.
Even though Rey is a “light side” character, I decided to add a twist and give this outfit a more “dark side” look. Also, if you are really feeling the dark side, this dress also comes in black! These dresses are on a limited run, so hurry! You’ll definitely want one of these before the next film comes out!
