Growing Up

I recently watched “Won’t you be my neighbor?“, the documentary about Fred Rogers aka “Mr. Rogers”, and I left the theater feeling incredibly inspired and moved by what an amazing person he was. His kindness and approach towards both children and adults and how we deal with issues and feelings is probably just the right attitude we need right now towards the world. I myself was also going through some challenging and emotional ups and downs and watching this movie really lifted my spirits. Even though his show and his songs are geared towards children, I listened to “It’s Such a Good Feeling” (the song he sings at the end of each show) so many times following the movie and it just reminded me that sometimes adults need to be reminded of these things too.
