Reality Bites
I’ve thought about blogging again for a while now, but getting to the point where I put some words down has been a struggle. Blogging was always a fun pasttime of mine – either writing in journals or doing it online. But with social media, pressure on myself to gain followers, questioning what I actually care about or where my passions are – all those things weighed on my mind in terms of where I wanted to focus my energy. I decided a couple years ago (really it was after going through cancer) to take a break from blogging and to not put pressure on myself to get a certain number of posts in a week or month and to just blog when I felt like blogging. Last year I really slowed down in terms of blogging and cosplaying. And to be honest, I am totally ok with that.
Of course a lot of things have changed this year and my days are now an endless cycle of sitting at my desk, working out, and then sitting on the couch once work is “over”. It’s a weird time and like many, I’ve also had my share of ups and downs (maybe I’ll go into that another day). All I know is that I’ve found myself wanting and even needing to be more creative and to feel just something! Some joy or some passion or some stronger emotion.
So with that, I’m going to challenge myself to do a few outfits a week, at least until the end of September. I’ll be posting them on Instagram with more details on what I’m wearing posted here. I definitely want to keep things casual and have fun with this so stay tuned for more! For those of you still reading, thanks for sticking around all these years!

Great work starting. It only lives if it’s authentic.

Ye are back, a good thing in a sea of bad things. Ye could not arrive at a better moment! :)
