A Galaxy Far, Far Away

We all have things that we miss during these quarantined times and one of the things I’ve missed the most is going to Disneyland. I miss seeing new decorations, new merchandise, eating all the park food, and the whole atmosphere. And with 2020 going down as the worst year ever, of course timing would have it that Rise of the Resistance had just come out in Galaxy’s Edge earlier in the year. Riding that ride and being in Galaxy’s Edge just seems like a far away dream at this point, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Disney decided to bring Galaxy’s Edge out of the park and into Target stores!

If you haven’t seen it yet, they’ve released some pretty cool merch including this super cute Jabba the Hutt with Salacious Crumb mug and this fun character women’s shirt that I’m wearing. I love that the characters they chose are from all sorts of Star Wars stories – from Star Wars Rebels to The Last Jedi. I’m still trying to hunt down some of the creature plushes that sold out instantly so if anyone has any tips, let me know! I know shopping at “Galaxy’s Edge” in Target is not even close to experiencing it at the park, but it’s still exciting to see some new items.
