Gone Batty
Usually around this time of year, you can find me carving pumpkins, decorating my house, and getting ready to hand out candy. However, this year is going to be a little different since I’ll actually be at Comikaze Expo the weekend of Halloween. I’m honestly a little sad to be missing out on all the festivities but regardless, I’m super thrilled to be going to Comikaze and debuting my latest cosplay! Since I’ll be missing out on the actual holiday, I’m definitely…

Lines and Dots
It finally feels like the weather is transitioning from summer to fall, which means I can finally start wearing boots again! This may be one of the few times during the year where you can wear boots with a skirt and not have to wear tights due to the cold! I love that this mini skirt is perfect for some tall boots, but has a sheer overlay to “shield” your legs. And something about polka dots reminds me of the…

Peachy for DC
With all the hype and camping out at Hall H this year, I was a little nervous about getting in to the big WB/DC screening at SDCC for Gotham and The Flash, two new shows airing on WB this Fall 2014. Caught in a Web (of Cosplay)
Happy Friday! It’s been a long week and I’m so ready for some fun in the sun. Well, that is if I can drag myself away from cosplay making to get some sun! San Diego Comic Con is only 4 weeks away, which means crunch time for cosplay making. It’s definitely a challenge to stay motivated, not procrastinate, and not feel discouraged when you face difficulties. To anyone else out there working hard on their cosplays – best of luck…

A Web of Lace
I’ve been on a McDonald’s Happy Meal spree lately, first picking up most of the My Little Ponies that came out a few weeks ago and now getting their latest goodies from Amazing Spider-Man 2. Walking into McDonalds, I had to do a double take when I saw not only “boy” Spider-Man toys, but then also “girl” Spider-Man toys as well!! In the past, they have always separated the “boy” and “girl” toys – well, not in the ’80s and…

Suit Up!
Marvel and Forever 21 have been coming out with some really fun tops this past year and this one is no exception. If it were Jim Lee art, it would be the best thing ever, but I still love that it’s X-Men and nostalgic of how colorful comic art used to be. Paired with a good old chambray shirt, it’s busy, but not too busy. And keeping with the fun of this outfit and that we’re in the middle of…
