Braver Days
Despite the outfits that I post on this blog, I don’t always like to wear super eye-catching things on a regular basis. Take for example this fabulous “Kaboom” skirt from Top Shop. Since I’ve had it, I’ve probably only worn it 3-4 times (sadly decreasing the “value per wear”, but that’s another story). I also have to admit that I have not even mustered up the courage to wear this to work yet! Maybe one day, but for now, this…

Not Superstitious
I’m generally not a superstitious person, but sometimes my culture can get the best of me. Today’s I’ve partnered with Tee Fury to bringing you not one, but six fun…

It’s what got me into comics in the first place and to this day, I am still in awe of it (see what happened at SDCC this past summer). I was first exposed to his art in the early ’90s when a friend of mine showed me the X-Men series 2 card set. I had never seen anything like it and was hooked on…

Dressing up Batman
Although it’s not impossible to be comfortable and dressed up, it’s something that challenges me on a daily basis. For example, take your basic sweatshirt (or not so basic comic book one), which screams to be worn with some sweatpants or just thrown on with some jeans. I am regularly resisting that urge and trying to find ways to not only wear these kind of tops to work, but also to figure out more than one way to wear them.…

Warm and Fuzzy New Year
Happy New Year, everyone! I took a much needed break from blogging last week to catch up on sleep, beat some games, and watch a ton of movies. Of course, I also got sick and am now lying on my couch fighting a cold among other things! Either way, I wanted to start the new year off with some warm fuzzies, especially in this mohair cardigan and these velvet shorts. I love how these warmer fabrics are great for the…
