Wondercon Cosplay Updates!
It’s definitely been too long since my last blog, but if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll know that I’ve been hard at work on my Honey Lemon (from Big Hero 6) cosplay for Wondercon! You might think that after seeing Big Hero 6, it might make more sense to cosplay as “the asian girl” (Go Go Tamago), but honestly, I identified way more with Honey Lemon. She love science, she’s dorky, tall and lanky, and is a…

Comikaze 2014 (Part 2) – Adventures of Rocket Raccoon
I may have been sick the entire weekend of Comikaze, but that didn’t stop me from having a great time there. Cosplaying as Rocket Raccoon was probably just the motivation I needed to get my sick butt out of bed and put on a costume. You’re My Only Hope!
With Halloween only a day away, it may be a little too late to plan an elaborate costume, but that’s where I’m here to help! There are tons of ways to make pseudo costumes –Disney bounding anyone? And this WeLoveFine Princess Leia dress is just another simple way to get the gist of the character across. With a white dress, white boots, and maybe a brown cap with buns, you could easily pull off a “Star Wars bound” look! Also,…

Welcome to October
It’s officially October, which for me means some crazy pumpkin project, lots of candy, and of course costumes. Sadly, I won’t actually be at home this year for Halloween since I will be spending the weekend at COMIKAZE!! More on that later, but in the spirit of October and making homemade costumes, here are some of my many tutorials that I’ve written up over the past 7 years or so that will hopefully inspire some easy Halloween costume ideas. So if…
