Interview with Refinery29
As a long time Star Wars nut, you can imagine how excited I was when a Refinery29 contacted me for an interview about my favorite topic – Star Wars. They initially wanted to know about my collection of Star Wars stuff, which I was happy to share. Over the past 20 years or so, I have ended up with some pretty strange stuff – from an oozing Jabba the Hutt toy, vintage Star Wars records, and most currently, some amazing Star Wars…

Happy Force Friday!
There has been an awakening for sure. For the past week, you may have been sensing the force growing stronger and stronger – emails and flyers with “Force Friday” plastered everywhere – even at your local Starbucks and Bed Bath Beyond! Well, today we welcomed the very first Force Friday ever! Woo hoo! Last night, I had a blast being first in line and camping out at my local Toys R Us.

My life was forever changed. :) So you can see why I was super excited to find this…

I Am Groot (Making of Baby Groot)
Like many, I loved the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. And I knew it was love when I heard “I’m Not in Love” start playing in the first few minutes. GOTG incorporated everything I enjoyed in a movie – the ’80s, an awesome soundtrack, great characters, and a quirky sense of humor. The moment the movie ended, I was already itching to make some sort of fan art. I just didn’t know what – until I came across one of…

SDCC 2014 – Camping for Hall H, Nerd HQ, and Panels!
If you’ve ever talked to multiple people about San Diego Comic-Con, you’ve probably realized how everyone’s experiences at SDCC can differ so much. There’s people who never walk the floors and only go to parties, people who only cosplay, those who camp Hall H for 4 days straight, and some people who only focus on getting the toys and exclusives. For me, SDCC has always been about doing a little bit of everything – cosplay, panels, walking the floor, buying…
