Grunge Stripes
Olive green and black is generally a combo that I don’t find very appealing. But this sweater was different – also, I am such a sucker for striped clothing. Olive green itself is already more of a “moody” color, definitely not a pick me up. And pairing that with black just makes it even darker! But maybe that’s why I liked this sweater so much – the dark, moody colors, stripes, and gothic lace tights, this outfit summons my darker…

Winter Mints
There are some colors that are perfectly suited for certain seasons – red and green for the holidays, pastels for the spring, or autumn colors for the fall. But lately, my opinion of only wearing pastels in the spring/summer has changed. The Many Faces of Dogs
I know there is a never ending debate of cats versus dogs, but as an animal lover, I choose both. Remember this truck driving cat shirt that I wore in one of my previous posts? Wearable Art – Cats and Steampunk
There’s nothing more humorous these days than a good picture of a cat. Even better, a cat driving a truck. Designed by Ritsuko Hirai, her simplistic and quirky drawings make for an eye catching graphic and great wearable art. Speaking of wearable art, steampunk jewelry is another perfect example. Compass Rose Design makes some incredible steampunk and vintage inspired jewelry that is not only beautifully crafted and designed, but totally wearable without looking too extreme.

Tim Burton Stripes
I must be on some sort of Tim Burtonesque spree because lately I’ve just been wearing black, black with white, or black with more black. I’ve always been a Tim Burton fan ever since Beetlejuice and Nightmare before Christmas and of course you readers can probably tell I love stripes. This vertical striped top made me want to pair it with some kooky spiral glasses and maybe a top hat (if I had one), but I went with a pencil…
