8-bit Fun
It’s amazing how a nearly 20 year old gaming console can make you so happy. Suddenly feeling nostalgic on a Sunday afternoon, I decided to break out my NES, complete with 7 whole games. A very sad and unimpressive collection, I know, but don’t judge a gamer by their gaming collection. Games were pretty expensive back then! I mean, can you believe I still paid almost $30 for Caveman Games in 1990?? But just like how I completed Tomb Raider…

Tomb Raider (2013) – A Review
Being sick sometimes has it’s advantages. No one wants to be around you, you have a legit reason for not attending events, and better yet, you get to stay home in your PJs and catch up on video games. Best of E3 2012
Being a regular at E3 from 2004-2009, it’s crazy to see how much things have changed over the years. A “gamer” is no longer just your LAN party attending marathon gamer, but also your little sister who plays Dance Central on the Kinect. The gaming world is evolving. Even though the demographics of gamers is changing and bringing in a lot of casual games these days, it’s good to see some publishers stay true to the hardcore fans who just…

Big Wow Comic Fest Recap
Granted that I didn’t get to attend Wondercon since it was all the way in Anaheim this year, I was really itching to go to some comic event before the big San Diego convention. Thank goodness for the Big Wow Comic Fest! Although fairly small and low key, the con was just enough for me get a good dosage of toys, comics, artwork, and geeks.
