Peachy for DC
With all the hype and camping out at Hall H this year, I was a little nervous about getting in to the big WB/DC screening at SDCC for Gotham and The Flash, two new shows airing on WB this Fall 2014. Surprisingly enough, we were able to show up 10 minutes after the panel started and still get in Hall H with plenty of seats to spare (plus awesome swag bags!). While Gotham was dark and mysterious with glimpses of…

Storming the Workplace
It’s rare that you find a top that’s not only geeky and fun, but that would also be appropriate for the work place (or heck, even an interview). Maybe an interview is taking it a little too far, but I wouldn’t completely put it out of the picture, especially in the Silicon Valley! It was dingy, missing a nose, and probably smelled of drool, but that plush was my constant companion for the beginning part of my childhood. I never thought my obsession over Mickey or even Disney…

Pixel Perfect
For anyone who grew up in the ’80s, there’s something completely irresistible about pixelated art. It’s fun, it’s nostalgic, and reminds me of simpler times on the Atari or for those who remember – the Intellivision, which is what I had growing up. One of my favorite super old school games was called Dracula – a classic pixelated game where you play Dracula and wander the streets in the middle of the night in search of food. Before you’re wondering…

Caught in a Web (of Cosplay)
Happy Friday! It’s been a long week and I’m so ready for some fun in the sun. Well, that is if I can drag myself away from cosplay making to get some sun! San Diego Comic Con is only 4 weeks away, which means crunch time for cosplay making. It’s definitely a challenge to stay motivated, not procrastinate, and not feel discouraged when you face difficulties. To anyone else out there working hard on their cosplays – best of luck…
