King of Summer
Today’s look is brought to you all the way from the Ice Kingdom! The Ice King is one of the more interesting characters in Adventure Time and you can’t help but like him and at the same time feel bad for and sometimes grossed out by him. Plus his back story with Marceline just gets me every time. :( This was another fun top I picked up from the We Love Fine booth at SDCC (now available on their website) and I thought they…

Her Universe Fashion Show 2016
I still can’t believe San Diego Comic-Con is over (yes, I have major con depression and con withdrawal) and I don’t even know where to begin in order to sum up the fun time I had there so let’s start with the obvious – the Her Universe Fashion Show. Obviously I love geek fashion so this is a must-see event for me. I even told some friends that this event is like New York Fashion Week for geeks, am I right? The competition was seriously…

Game of Fashion
With Game of Thrones season 6 in full swing and last week’s episode having some “tears of joy” worthy moments, it’s only fitting that today’s post be a fun tribute to the show. I’m not going full on medieval or anything, but I found that when I was putting together this outfit, each piece I chose became more and more themed. For example, I love that this high slit tunic reminds me of Brienne of Tarth or that these leggings could…

Boho Geek
Call me old or call me uncool, but I’m completely not in tune with the music scene. I guess at some point in your adult life, you stop listening to new music, start saying stuff like “I can’t believe kids are listening to this stuff” and stick to music you listened to when you were younger. All things considered, I still somehow knew (thanks to social media) that Coachella was happening this past weekend. My friends have told me that Coachella is like the…

The Robin Hood Tour
No matter how many cons I have been to, I still never get tired of roaming the exhibit floor and checking out new booths. Wondercon had some great independent booths and as a huge Disney nerd, I was immediately drawn to Whosits and Whatsits. Yes, they have an awesome store name and yes, they have amazingly cute Disney inspired shirts! Robin Hood was actually one of my favorite Disney cartoons growing up and I have to admit I had a tiny crush on him too (can…

Agents of Fashion
If there’s one thing about fashion, it’s that it can be so empowering. I love that wearing something can bring about so many emotions – feeling girly when you’re wearing a tulle skirt, tough as nails when you’re wearing motorcycle boots, or maybe even like a secret agent when you’re representing the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I love that this lightweight cardigan brings a mixture of ’50s school uniform flair while representing the team with a sweet logo on the back. I may not look as badass…
