Girls in Asia sacrifice a lot for fashion. I went to Japan last winter and remember seeing tons of girls wearing over the knee boots with shorts or mini skirts in 40 degree weather. Hello Polka Dots!
Somehow the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is always able to stay modern, yet vintage at the same time. This blouse has the basics of any old polka dot blouse, but with some extra details in the front. I usually don’t like big bows in the front either, but find that the polka dots on this one make it less serious.

Spring with Lilacs and Greys
With Spring here, I have been taking advantage of finally not having to wear pants to work. This Free People bodycon skirt has strategic lace panels on the front, back, and side and could easily be part of a boudoir collection. Since there is a lot of detail in the skirt, I kept the rest of the outfit simple with just a regular old slub T-shirt and some basic sandals.
